The fellowship will feature a year long curriculum including guest speakers and a capstone project aimed to create a community of people who will help bring diversity and inclusion understanding to the medical community

Welcome to the Brown Minority Housestaff Association website!

IThis year we are excited to lead for this wonderful organization. Together with our wonderful executive team we are organizing events to build the BMHA community. Our goal for this academic year is to build our BMHA community by:

  • Engaging with medical students mentorship through the ODMA, SNMA and LMSA.
  • Working with local pre-college and college students interested in careers in medicine or the allied health professions
  • Hosting mixers and workshops for networking and professional development
  • Scheduling general body meetings and social events regularly

We will also be attending regional and national conferences, hosting Grand Round Speakers and participating in clothing drives and marathons. The BMHA is dedicated to service, mentorship, and professional development. Please join us for an exciting year!

Sincerely,

Luwam Ghidei, MD (Ob/Gyn) and Angela Martinez, MD (Peds).
